A series of novel pyrimidine derivatives were synthesized and characterized, and evaluated for their fungicidal and insecticidal activities. Most of these derivatives exhibited good fungicidal activity. Especially, the compound 4a exhibited more than 68% fungicidal activities against Fusariumoxysporum and Clematis mandshurica, the compound 4o exhibited more than 98% insecticidal activities against Pyrausta nubilalis.
