Study of thermodynamic and transport properties of ternary liquid mixture at different frequencies
Abstract
The Ultrasonic velocity, density and viscosity have been measured for ternary mixture of N-N dimethylformamide (DMF), Cyclohexane and Chloro-benzene at different frequencies (2 MHz, 4 MHz, 6 MHz and 8 MHz) for a constant temperature (318 K). These experimental data have been used to estimate the thermodynamic parameters such as adiabatic compressibility (β), free length (Lf), internal pressure (Pi ), relaxation time (τ), acoustic impedance (Z), Gibb’s free energy (ΔG) and absorption coefficient for the mixture. The excess values of the parameters are also evaluated and discussed.
