Phytosome: a phytoconstituent based lipid derived drug delivery system can surpass these drawbacks .phytosomes are phospholipid-substrate complex in which there occurs the formation of weak hydrogen bonds between the polar portion while the non polar tail of phospholipid wraps over the complex thereby imparting lipophilic character to it and hence increases its absorption.
