The complete NMR spectral assignments for the two diterpenes, steviol obtained from the hydrolysis of stevioside that was isolated from Stevia rebaudiana and its monoacetylated product were achieved by the extensive 1D (1H and 13C) and 2D NMR (COSY, HMQC, and HMBC) as well as mass spectral data.
