Mass Attenuation Coefficients of Cr, Ni, Cu, and Ag elements (24 < z < 47) by Using Gamma Energy at 279.30 keV
Abstract
Mass attenuation coefficient for g-ray photons of energy 0.279MeV in Cr, Ni, Cu, and Ag have been determined experimentally through photon-transmission measurements performed under narrow-beam counting geometry with HP (Ge) as a photon detector. The mass attenuation coefficient values reported in this work are found to be in good agreement with the values computed theoretically.
