A new rotenoid, 2,6-dimethoxy-5¢-(isopropenyl)dihydrofurano[2¢,3¢:8,9]-6a,12a-dehydro-3-hydroxyrotenoid (1), together with a known isoflavone, afrormosin (2), a known pterocarpene, flemichapparin B (3) and a known rotenoid, dehydrodegulin (4). The structures of the new and known compounds were elucidated on the basis of extensive 2D NMR spectral studies.
